All ambitious postgraduate medical students, pay attention! The date of the Odisha NEET PG 2024 counselling has been announced by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET). Make sure you mark this significant day in your calendar! This important round’s registration period began on January 19, 2025, and will end at 11:59 PM on January 22, 2025. The counselling process for this round will conclude on January 25, 2025.
Why Is Round 3 Important?
This third round was initiated after the NEET PG 2024 cutoff was reduced. This cut is aimed at acquiring more candidates for seat allocations so that seats across the medical Institutions of Odisha can be properly utilised.
However, it must be noted that candidates who have already accepted a seat allocated to them in Round 1 or Round 2 of the counselling process cannot participate in Round 3. This will ensure that only fresh aspirants or those who could not be allotted a seat receive a fair chance.
