The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) started registration for the third round of NEET PG 2024 counselling on 26-12-2024. Candidates who have already registered in earlier rounds can change their college and course selections starting on December 27, 2024, but they are not required to re-register.

Here are the important dates for NEET PG counselling Round 3:
  • Last Date for Registration and Choice Filling: January 1, 2025
  • Seat Allotment Declaration: January 4, 2025
  • Reporting to Allotted Institutes: January 6 – January 13, 2025
  • To be eligible, candidates need to register on the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
  • Seat allocation is done based on choices filled, seat availability, and reservation policies.
Round-2 Counselling Update

On 13th December 2024, the round 2 seat allotment result was announced with 31,490 candidates being allocated seats. The result in PDF for the same consisted of following details such as name, roll number, rank, institute and course allotted, and the concerned quota. Candidates whose seats were allocated must have reported to the concerned institute along with an allotment letter and required documents.

Steps for  NEET PG 2024 Counselling
  • Log in at mcc.nic.in using an email ID and mobile number.
  • Pay the fees to proceed.
  • Choice Filling and Locking: Declare your desired colleges and courses. 
  • The choices need to be saved and locked before the stipulated deadline as no alteration can take place after that.
  • Allotment of seats will be declared based on the preference and availability.
Highlights NEET PG Counselling
  • The NEET PG 2024 merit list for 50% AIQ seats was released on September 5, 2024.
  • MCC will hold four rounds of counselling for deemed universities, central universities, 50% AIQ seats, and 50% State Quota seats.
  • Candidates who clear the minimum NEET PG cut-off percentile are only eligible.
