The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the resignation window for Round 1 & 2 seats in NEET PG 2024 Counselling. Candidates who are willing to resign their seats can now proceed through the official MCC Portal (mcc.nic.in.). The window for resignation will remain open till 6 PM on December 26, 2024.
Key Highlights:
- A candidate allotted a seat in Round 2, but wishes to resign, shall vacate within this stipulated time. If failed to do so, the security deposit shall be forfeited.
- Candidates who upgraded to a new seat in Round 2 must now report to that seat, and if they wish to resign, they are free to vacate it, subject to similar forfeiture.
- Physical reporting at the allotted college is essential for resignation. Resignation will only be considered legitimate if it is completed through the MCC portal.

Important Instructions:
- Resignation Letter:
The candidates must ensure that the allotted college releases an online resignation letter using the MCC Portal. Failure to do so will result in the resignation shall be considered Null & Void.
- Last Date:
Registration requests submitted after 6 PM, on 26 December 2024, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
The decision to grant the resignations was taken after the requests made by candidates who cannot continue with the allotted seats in NEET PG 2024 Counselling.
