Confused About Whether to Focus on INI CET November 2024 or NEET PG 2025 Exam?

INICET Exam Preparation

Hello students, this is Dr. Praveen Tripathi, Faculty of Cerebellum Academy. Now students, after NEET PG exam results were announced, this is one question that is being asked repeatedly. Students are saying that sir, should I target the INI CET November 2024 exam or prepare properly for the NEET PG 2025 exam? Basically, the crux of the question is that there are only 2 months left for INI CET and of course, INI CET has fewer seats, and the competition is tougher, so does it make sense to go for this or I should be more realistic and go for NEET PG 2025.

I do not want to bring toxic motivation here and I do not want to say that no matter where you are, you can crack the INI CET November 2024 exam because that is not true. Entrance examinations are not a joke, whereas motivation and hard work can you know make miraculous things happen, but we have to have a realistic approach. So, you have to ask a very important question to yourself, where do you stand today this has to be a very honest analysis on your part, what was your rank, do you think your concepts are good, did you study hard, how much course have you completed, all these things are important.

So, if you tell me, sir, I have completed most of the things and I made silly mistakes in the exams, then I would say that go for the INI CET exam because then you need a bit of brushing up on the concept and a bit of hard work and you will be through, but if you tell me, sir, I did not know half of the questions, forget about making silly mistakes, I did not know any of the options, then probably your fund of knowledge is lacking and you need a longer preparation duration to do something good and in that case, NEET PG 2025 would be good for you.

So, judge yourself on 3-4 points, first of all, what is your rank, if you are say around 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, or 30,000, you should go for INI CET 2024 because it means that your preparation was at least at a decent level, if your rank is 90,000, 1 lakh, 1 lakh, 20,000, I am not saying that you cannot crack INI CET, but then you will have to ask yourself that why was your rank this much and if the answer is that the fund of knowledge was less or you did not study hard enough, probably NEET PG 2025 becomes a better option.

Secondly, some students are saying that you know, their preparation was decent, but they do not really know why their result was bad, they have no idea why it came out to be 50,000 or 60,000, for those students also who have some confidence in their preparation, probably INI CET makes sense, but if you are a student who just you know, memorise all the facts and went for the exam and did not get a good result, probably NEET PG 2025 is the one for you.

So, have an honest analysis of your result, have an honest analysis of your preparation and then take a call because you know, if you want to cover everything in 2 months, sometimes you would not be able to cover anything, we should not get into that trap because, after INI CET again, you would be left with 2 months only, so half-hearted preparation twice does not really help us, so this is an important decision, take your time, think about it and then take a call, all the best.
